What her patients say:

“I can’t believe that it was possible for me to take control of how I feel by putting into place really simple and manageable changes recommended by Mariam. I’m happier, calmer, and have so much more energy”.

“Mariam designed a plan with me that was easy to follow and maintain. I literally started feeling better within days”. “I wish I’d met Mariam ten years ago. I’d almost given up hope… we should all be taught how much the choices we make can affect our health in school. Mariam has showed me how much power I have to transform my life forever”.

“I struggled with endometriosis and polycystic ovaries for many years, I saw several specialists but none of them gave me results like Mariam’s advice produced. After working and adjusting my diet over several months I am now symptom free and happier than ever. I continue to refer to her notes as a reminders but the changes I once thought would be so hard are now just part of my life. Mariam’s help and advice has been invaluable. Thank you Mariam.”

Consultation process

In your initial consultation Mariam will assess your needs in depth and plan your nutritional strategy. This will ideally be followed up with an appointment 3-4 weeks later for review. In this way you can work together with Mariam to effectively manage sustainable, long-term changes and make adjustments accordingly. The frequency of follow-up reviews differs greatly from person to person, depending on individual needs, compliance, progress and outcomes from any possible investigations. No two strategies are ever the same, with all recommendations made according to your own unique and individual needs. Within seven working days of your initial consultation you will be emailed your personal action plan summary. This will include detailed recommendations covering dietary and lifestyle changes, GP testing, functional testing and nutritional supplement recommendations, where relevant. Mariam’s personal goal is to positively influence your health within 21 days but it’s not unusual for benefits to be felt sooner than this. To promote optimum benefits from following a targeted nutritional strategy, particularly to address chronic or persistent health issues, Mariam offers a cost-saving, three consultation package. Please see details below.

Adaptive Health Questionnaire

Please download the ‘Adaptive Health Questionnaire’, complete in full and return by email ideally by the time of your appointment booking. Reviewing this information at your initial consultation ensures Mariam will gain an extensive understanding of you and your needs, to plan a nutritional strategy that ensures you are able to get the most out of your first consultation.   This questionnaire is an editable pdf, although please be aware for some older software packages you may need to ensure your data is saved by clicking on the 'fill and sign' option in Adobe before completing the questionnaire. Alternatively, if you prefer you can print and complete the form by hand, and either scan or photograph the form and return by email preferably converted into a pdf to mariam@thought4foodnutrition.co.uk.
